PLEASE I was never taught military time so i have no idea what "17:06" is it looks like gibberish it would be really nice to have a pm/am option

Pro-tip: if the number is 13 or greater, then drop the leading 1 and subtract 2 from the remaining digit; this range constitutes PM.

17:06

Drop the 1:

7:06

Subtract 2:

7 - 2 = 5

So you get 5:06 PM
