redditmonitor

Script to monitor a subreddit and post to discord!

Installation

  1. Download Python from https://www.python.org/downloads/

  2. Create a bot account at https://discord.com/developers/applications/

  3. Clone the repository!

    git clone https://github.com/fourwadu/redditmonitor.git

  4. Install requirements

    pip/pip3 install -r requirements.txt

  5. Fill in the template in env.example with your bot token default Discord channel!

  6. Rename env.example to .env

  7. Start the bot!

    python/python3 main.py
