Cannot force execution despite 'Developer cannot be verified' error anymore #26
Comments
@Stuzanna I'm on Ventura 13.0.1 and it works for me. Could you give some more details on what's not working? |
@cmeury - thanks for reaching out, when trying to run the Application I get an error It's an error I've seen before historically and usually got around it in MacOS by right clicking with alt/option , or some combination of menus to "Allow anyway" for it to run but not this time since I updated. I have tried the options I could find online so I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that some action might be required from Objektiv team? |
I see, this has worked in the past. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with the programming side of things, I just stepped in to shepherd the project a bit. Still looking for someone who is familiar with the programming language and SDK to jump in and look at such issues. |
@Stuzanna While holding the "control" key, right-click the application and select "open." OSX should give the option to allow it anyway. Objektiv has never been signed, so this is the workaround. |
Thanks both, that's what I had tried same error, including going into settings to Open Anyway. |
When trying to run Objektiv Mac OS Ventura won't recognise it as developer verified.
Have tried the tricks to run it anyway, right clicks etc., is this something developer can help with or not?
