We have two licenses, one for ntopng, one for nprobe, but the one that used to work for nprobe no longer does.
No idea why. I do have to add that we enabled this ntopng nprobe after some time has passed that this hardware had been out of service. Perhaps the system-ID has changed (not sure, the OS has upgraded from deb 11 to deb 12), but then why does ntopng.license work fine and nprobe does not? Both show the same System Id;

License: Invalid license (/etc/nprobe.license) [License mismatch (check systemId, product version, or host date/time)]
nProbe is subject to the terms and conditions defined in
the LICENSE and EULA files that are part of this package.
nProbe also contains third party code:
Radix tree code - (C) The Regents of the University of Michigan
("The Regents") and Merit Network, Inc.
sFlow collector - (C) InMon Inc.
(and yes, I obfiscated the system-id for security reasons, but both are the exact same for nprobe and ntopng..)
I tried recovering the license, and also tried obtaining/creating the license again, but that last thing fails saying I only have one license for nprobe, not another attempt at it, which is logical and expected.
I have also tried copying and rewriting the file nprobe.license on disk, seeing if it has been damaged, but it has not..
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
