Update testing infrastructure

The project setup with travis needs a drupal core patch that will likely never land, it tests on very out dated drupal versions and it doesn't use the composer things that went into core.
We could adopt drupal spoons which helps create a setup that works nicely so that we can test on gitlab travis and even drupal.org

Interesting, I'll remove the patch from composer.json for now. How the Drupal Spoon setup would work?
