Pageload (TTFB >5s) when cookies enabled

Hi,

I've been struggling with this issue for a while now, tried numerous things but I can't wrap my head around it. I couldn't find anything TTFB related in Discord so therefor decided to create this issue.

Whenever I'm logged in (Local strategy) I have a very high TTFB on page load. Disabling cookies fixes the TTFB performance issue but isn't what I want since I then can't visit auth pages (on page reload) without having to login again.

I tried playing around with cookie settings (Secure, Samesite Strict/Lax) but none of that seems to work.
Perhaps it's also worth noting that whenever I visit/reload a page with auth middleware, it causes me to relog. So it seems like there's something wrong with my session?

Lastly this issue only occurs on (https) production, not my local (http) development environment.
