Anyone using this addon? It would be a shame to throw away this addon, I started using Audio screen for NVDA before it was possible in older versions of NVDA, so I'm not even trying to not install addon because this plugin is incompatible.

Indeed it is no longer compatible with the latest versions of NVDA (currently at 2024.4.2). I sincerely hope audioScreen soon gets updated!
