Option for ignoring "The" in alphabetic sorting

Currently, every band whose name starts with "The" goes under "T" in Audinaut, when really I'd want to look for The Accidentals under "A" and The Mountain Goats under "M", etc. Could there be a configurable option for "ignore 'The' while sorting", or maybe a user-specified list of ignored words to be less anglocentric?
