Yahoo mail: an error message is displayed permanently #154
Comments
It would be helpful if you added the actual error message. Perhaps a screenshot even. |
I added a Yahoo mail account by selecting in the window, clicking the Yahoo button. |
Another question: Is this planned a multilingual support for Nylas Mail lives. I could contribute by proposing the French language. |
@franco27, no it's not planned. Please open a new issue or chat with us on slack. We try to keep the conversations in issues/prs relevant to prevent tangents :D |
for "multilingual support for Nylas Mail lives" I created a new issue |
Because of my problem #183 , I was forced to reinstall this version 2.2.2 completely With the old installation, I managed to completely disappear this message: With some startup of Nylas, or after deleting the Yahoo account and then adding that same Yahoo account again, temporarily this error message does not appear. about thirty messages for each folder ( 30 inbox + 30 "Sent" folder) |
Same problem here, all my yahoo accounts are blocked, even if I've set the "Allow apps that use less secure sign in" option as suggested by the Nylas support https://support.nylas.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001076128-Authorizing-Use-with-Yahoo |
Hello
I wanted to try this new Nylas Mail , NylasMail lives.
1/I downloaded and installed the version NylasMailSetup-2.2.1-x64.exe (on Windows10 x64)
2/ After setting up 2 email accounts, I added my Yahoo mail account. I had no error message, and the Yahoo account was added. I saw messages from Yahoo that were repatriated.
3/ A few minutes later, I have an error message for the Yahoo account. The red color display is permanent. When I click on the button to correct the problem, the error message reappears a few seconds later.
The error message informs that you need to contact technical support.
After checking in another mail software, there is no problem with Yahoo servers.
I can receive and send messages.
