Open .ows files #5

Follow installation step by step |
Hi Professor, I have followed your step-by-step guide to re-install OASYS, but I still have the same issue with .ows files. I cannot open all the .ows example files. However, I found that if I create a new .ows file and save it, I can open it again. What could be the issue? By the way, I am using Windows 11. Thanks, |
Dear April (blowing little bubbles?), Your previous installation was fine, but I wanted to be sure so I had you repeat it step by step. There is an error message when an ows file doesn't open (the should be a button "show error"), it would be good to see it, otherwise is impossibile to understand what is going on. L. |
Dear Professor, When I opened an example ows file, there was no error message, nothing happened. I used the "Open" button on the welcome page. I noticed that I was able to create a new ows file, save it, and open it. I have attached the two ows files. Could you help me take a look? Is there any difference between these two files? "Test.ows", new ows file that I created: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BIDOap6Wb3fqXLy0-uAIQGA2rZo2fdwL/view?usp=sharing "ex20_sleeperrors.ows", a recent example file from ShadowOui tutorial, updated last year: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EJw01KAeQES2rPqOl-UBYV5guK4e_VNM/view?usp=sharing Yes, your interpretation of my username is correct. What a pleasant surprise that you found out the secret of my username. :D Thanks, |
