Installed version of tao 12.16.0 does not satisfy required >=17.2.0 for taoBattery

I cannot install this extension on TAO 3.2. I get this error,

Installed version of tao 12.16.0 does not satisfy required >=17.2.0 for taoBattery

Please advice. Thank you.

Current releases of extensions are actively developing and they ahead of the latest stable version of TAO.
To get it to work you should update tao-core at least to 17.2.0, but at it's under development, it may have some issue and bugs so it's not recommended.

I use my development server for testing. How to update tao-core? How to update extension?
I run TAO 3.2 on XAMPP server in windows 10.

You have to change the version of oat-sa/tao-core in composer.json and run composer update. Sources with composer file available here https://github.com/oat-sa/package-tao/releases/tag/v3.2-rc02
After that reinstall or upgrade application to get changes applied. Maybe it will require updating some additional software or packages/extensions.
