It's a problem with how the altar handles recipes, but you can (and should, just in case you die!) keep a backup book at home, which you can use to copy glyphs over to other books |
How do you copy them? There's nothing in the Ars notebook about it.

Just use the scribe's table to enscribe a book as you would any of the other things that go on the table |
Wow, this would be a very helpful thing to have on the Worn Notebook page for the Tome of Blood. I had no idea you could do that with the scribe's table. It sounds like that's a vanilla ars capability, but it's one that has an extremely valuable use to Tome of Blood specifically, so I at least would have found it really helpful if it were mentioned there. |
I have all of the tier 1 and tier 2 glyphs unlocked. Then I made the tome of the novice bloodmage, and it only has the default glyphs that you start with. So I remade all the tier 1 glyphs.
Then I upgrade to the tier 2 blood mage tome, and all of the glyphs are gone, except for the starting ones.
