While signing up for a new service, you cannot add the user/pass to sysPass via the browser extension. The journey from there to add the password involves many steps and also increases the learning curve for the users.
I am a former LastPass user and think their solution to this problem is a good reference. Their browser extension lets you click password fields and generate a password, and when you submit a password for a username that it doesn't recognise, it offers to add it after a successful login.
Another scenario, is that if the password is for a known username, doesn't match what LastPass stored, yet you get a successful login, the extension offers to update the stored password.
