Currently the field to enter incentives is a single general field, not linked to any specific submission. If a runner submits multiple runs, the field gets cluttered and the people managing to enter those incentives can't clearly tell which incentive is available for which run. Especially with multiple category submissions for the same game, but only some of them being able to do a specific incentive, this can get confusing fast and cause errors to happen.
If the field is instead put into the actual run submission, there can be no more confusions, it will be clear for everyone which run the incentive belongs to. And the runner will have more space to put specifics for each of their incentives, removing the need to contact them individually to get more information.

Officially there is no incentive field inside of oengus, the field you are seeing is a custom field added by marathon admins.
That does not mean however that this is a bad suggestion, when oengus gets native support for donations I will make sure to add a field for incentives to categories.
