Text gets cut off on Steam Deck

Not sure if there's a setting I have wrong or something, but the chat dialogue gets cut well off before completion on my Steam Deck. It works just fine on my Desktop though.

Sadly I don't play on Linux or a Steam Deck but my gut feeling is it's some problem with gdifonts running on Linux. I've seen something similar before but I'm afraid I don't have any good suggestions for a fix.
