Do I always have to copy and paste the recipes? #10

A reader's inquiry might be:

We have quite a few dev sandboxes that we regularly refresh so the recipes came really handy, thank you.
I have stored most recipes with my aliases I need in a text file, but opening it and copying the appropriate part takes as long as clicking the button in the Salesforce UI
Can you point me in any helpful direction?

I think there's only one way to address this without too much trouble for a cli novice:

  • Command History Search

Why not scripts/executables?
I would link to howtos on how to write executable text files on each OS but I wouldn't want to touch the topic any further - it gets too complicated/error prone too quickly.
