GetSerial: return children groups too?

The group field in the GetSerialResponse is a list. Is this because we should return the group it belongs too as well as its children?

The README file says "A serial can be assigned to a single group apart from the root group". So maybe it's because we need to also return the root group, which it would always be part of anyway. I'm not sure how to interpret that

Only the groups the serial is a member of.

What readme are you referring to? I am not sure of this constraint, so I would like to ask the original author, but I need a reference.
