My team and I (@openedx/2u-aperture) would like to extract the Frontend Platform Framework PR in frontend-platform into its own library repo.
Reasoning
This PR holds the source code for the Frontend Plugin Framework that was presented at the Frontend Pluggability Summit last week. For our proof-of-concept, we had to manually embed the code into our MFEs, which isn't the intended way to implement the framework.
In order to do further work with AXIM (@arbrandes, @brian-smith-tcril) as was mentioned in a recent Frontend Working Group meeting, our team would like to have the Frontend Plugin Framework live in its own repo under the openedx organization. In the scenario where a decision is made to use the framework for solving our "pluggability" problem, this would allow for other contributors to integrate their plugins into the framework as well.
