Alright,
2021, let's get back to it. nondedjos.

>= aventutoriel
  • Ian Bogost : Bogost learned firsthand about people's extraordinary ability to have fun through embracing constraint.

  1. introduction
division 2 is awesome. Analyser leur process d'onboarding au jeu.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6ORi8wWXzc

Develop a framework based on game design, applied to makerspace/fablabs/hackerspache/biolab.
Main target is everyone (10+), but mainly adults.

  1. Who are you?
you are a new member of the makerspace.

  2. Your need? what's motivating you?

Fun often come from overcoming our own weakness. The place will give you a forgiving and friendly environment to practice, because suckin' at something is the first step to being sorta good at something.
It's ok to fail.

Archetype in D&D: Actor, Explorer, Instigator, Power Gamer, Storyteller, Thinker or Watcher?

How people act and interact in gamified environments has been derived from what we know about game theory, social dynamics, as well as Player Types.

  1. Go for it.
Protagonist has initiated their journey to find, build, buy, steal, or win over whatever they need.
They collect the right equipment, safety first,
They know what they need or look for, the table is set.

  2. Search
Through tutorial project or tasks, they will acquire the skills, experience or loot required to access to their own quest.
Documentation is a skill they will have to learn also.

  3. Find
They have everything now, Time to get it done.
It doesn't look that hard now, everything should be alright. Isn't it?

  4. Take
This is where we see how steep of a price your hero is willing to pay to accomplish their goal, to get what they need.
(Never give up or know when to quit: the point of maximum return)

  5. Return
You think the project is done, everything work (kind of) but you still need to share the result.

Write a post on your blog, Instagram it or what ever but brag about it. If nobody knows about what you did, it doesn't exist.

  1. Change
"The only thing constant is change." - Heraclitus, and college dorm posters.
You are not the same person you used to be, you just leveled up.

This is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) role-playing game set in the imaginary world of Azeroth. Players complete quests in order to "level up" their characters, while gaining powers and better weapons/armor/accessories along the way. Quest objectives sometimes involve using magic and hand-to-hand combat to defeat various creatures, enemy soldiers, and occasionally other characters such as innocent villagers. Some attacks can result in splashes of red blood or small bursts of flesh and bone falling to the ground. Certain quests require the player to drink alcohol, resulting in the character's impaired vision (blurry screen, pink elephants) and movement. Players can interact with scantily clad characters, listen to provocative dialogue (e.g., "Is that a mana wyrm in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"), or view sexually suggestive dance routines performed by elves and other player-characters. One quest requires players to search for specific creatures among a landscape covered with piles of brown feces. The words "as,""bastard," and "btch" can be heard in the dialogue.
