Hi! I'd really like to try this skill out, without having to do a manual install (had bad luck with that). It looks like the skill isn't available to msm?

$ msm install openhab                                                                                                                                                                     *

SkillNotFound: openhab

Do I need to add a repo or something first?

Hi,
unfortunately until the skill get no validation in the last branch, it is not possible to install the skill via msm. I already submitted the skill to the branch but it is not validated yet. I agree every skill should be validated before to be approved but I my case I think they are too restrictive; i don't think f.i. the homeassistant skill got all those criticisms.

@mortommy thanks for the info! I ended up installing it manually with no problems, so kudos for that.

Is there a place where I can view and contribute to the conversation around validation?

Hi, the skill isn't available yet. I've installed it manually but I don't know how to check if it's running well and how to configure it... Can you clarify a bit how to do it?

@fgianneschi I suggest giving up on Mycroft.

It's still not on the marketplace or installeble through voice - maybe one should switch to home-assistant as it's there already - but I just don't want to - prefer OpenHab way more - also waiting on Openhab to support using Mimic for TTS
