Next release of Opensearch Operator

I would like to know if there is an approximative date fixed for the next release of the Operator (maybe 2.8.0) that include auto scaling function.

Hi @sofianeChibani. Autoscaling functionality is currently not implemented in the operator and there are no concrete plans to implement it (there was an attempt in Juli 2023 but that came to nothing) and it is not a priority.
As for a release date for the next version: There is no fixed schedule, we release a new version when we feel there are enough new features/changes to warrant it.
