We need to think seriously about how items in the index of texts are displayed and how the index itself is organized for an MVP.
So long as the default setting is to locate an item alphabetically, I would like to offer a user a choice of seeing items listed in Hebrew or Roman letters.
I would prefer us to use the transliterator, perhaps, to show all items with Hebrew titles using Romanized aliases. (I would also like the transliterator to Hebraicize items in Roman letters.)
Search should provide a clickable visual keyboard with Hebrew letters.
Have we discussed organizing textual units and arranged sets of textual units under particular taxonomies? (for example: period, place, type, etc.) We might be able to simplify search by organizing content into default taxonomies, or offer to the user to see the content organized into certain preset taxonomies.
