When installing the use of IDL through Opticks, there is an error when calling the IDL interpreter:
"Unable to start the IDL interpreter. Make sure you have located your IDL installation in the options."
The issues lies in that there are patches that need to be placed into IDL in order for it to run correctly.
I know that the installations of Opticks that we have on base do not require this to happen, and that it has something to do with how the opticks.exe file is generated removes this dependency. Is there a way to always have that opticks.exe have this in place?
Another question is do we have a copy of the opticks.exe file on the unclass that has this in place so that I can use it there?
