Title

Support for Oqtane.Maui Applications and Hybrid Applications in Microsoft, Google, and Apple App Stores

Description

This issue is to discuss and track the necessary steps for getting Oqtane.Maui applications and Hybrid applications into the app stores for Microsoft, Google, and Apple. This includes understanding the requirements of each platform, ensuring our applications meet those requirements, and navigating the submission and review processes.

Tasks

  • Research the requirements for submitting applications to each platform's app store.
  • Ensure Oqtane.Maui and Hybrid applications meet these requirements.
  • Document the submission and review process for each platform.
  • Submit applications for review.
  • Address any feedback or issues raised during the review process.

Using the Oqtane Framework

We should also update the "Using the Oqtane Framework" related section of our documentation to include information about this process. This will help other developers who want to submit their own Oqtane.Maui or Hybrid applications to these app stores.

Tasks for Documentation

  • Update the "Using the Oqtane Framework" section to include a new subsection about submitting applications to each of the app stores.
  • Document the requirements for each platform.
  • Provide a step-by-step guide for the submission and review process.
  • Include troubleshooting tips for common issues encountered during the review process.

Additional Context

We can post issues located in the Oqtane.Framework repo related in this issue as references.

This looks like this will be my next area to focus on while continuing to enhance the other topics. I will also touch on #7 if I can this "next" month.

Update: How to setup Oqtane Maui project for development with Visual Studio on deck in the next week or two.

The focus on initial build, configuration and launching the .NET Maui project from the Oqtane.Framework solution to work with an Oqtane website.

Taking an app to the app stores will be a much more different topic that anyone who has experience can help assist with. Apple, Microsoft and Google store along with device development will take a bit more time and will be on the roadmap when these areas of documentation can be produced by any contributor if not myself.

This issue looks like it will take someone that has experience in these areas to help create helpful tutorials on what to do. Anyone putting Oqtane into stores have any information on what to do/not to do... to help us get this section started and put this issue to bed?

If someone is interested I can meet with them on discord and work on this together as well. Or just share information here so we can be sure to include anything to help the next person attempting this.

Thank you!
