As ROS Kinetic was EOL'ed 6 months ago in April 2021 along with Ubuntu 16.04, we will no longer support it on our interbotix_ros platforms. This means that the Kinetic branch on any of the ros repositories will no longer receive updates and that users experiencing issues specific to Kinetic will be directed to upgrade to a newer distro.
Note that this will be our policy moving forward: We will drop support for a ROS distro six (6) months after its EOL date. For ROS Melodic, this will happen in November of 2023. You can find the full schedule for ROS1 distros here.
