Updates
This is where we’ll regularly update about the latest news within the Heroes program.
CFP: Requests and Ideas
If you have a topic you want the Heroes workshops to cover, you can suggest it here.
OpenGov Proposals
Ask for input on project proposals planned to be submitted to OpenGov. Invite members to vote on your proposal.
Polkadot Developer Heroes - Features and Upgrades
Suggest features, ideas, future improvements that could make the program better. Propose working groups and management mechanisms.
Project Discussions
You can seek feedback on your project and work, ask for insights on various topics, including code contributions and tech reviews, documentation, roadmap and project planning, technology stack decisions, and the use of ecosystem technology within Polkadot, and many more. Discussions are expected to be project-specific and focused on technical challenges.
For more general questions, inquiries about the Polkadot ecosystem, we recommend looking at the Polkadot Forum.
Submission Guidelines
To ensure a constructive and organized feedback process, we ask all contributors to adhere to the Code of Conduct of the Polkadot Developer Heroes program at all times (including but not limited to discussions on the board). All discussions started should be in the context of the Polkadot ecosystem and the technology that surrounds it.
Furthermore, we ask you to stick to the following guidelines:
Clarity and specificity
Clearly state your comments, providing specific details and examples when possible.
If addressing a particular section, include relevant page numbers, paragraphs, or line numbers.
Constructive feedback
Focus on constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. Offer alternatives or solutions if you are highlighting a concern.
Respectful tone
Maintain a respectful and professional tone in your comments.
Avoid personal attacks or offensive language.
Relevance
Ensure that your comments are directly related to discussion you are providing feedback to.
If your comment addresses a specific issue on Github or any other document publicly available, reference the corresponding source or content.
Review previous discussions and comments
Before submitting, review existing discussions and comments to avoid duplication. If you agree with a previous comment, consider endorsing it rather than repeating the same feedback.
Feedback on others' comments
Engage in constructive discussions with other community members.
Respectfully challenge or support the opinions of others.
No money talk
Crypto price-related discussions are not allowed.
