Ranking System for Polkadot Heroes like the Polkadot Technical Fellowship

The Polkadot Technical Fellowship currently utilizes a ranking system with levels like I DAN, II DAN, III DAN, etc., where ranks are determined based on the contributions made. Similarly, for the Heroes Program, we could implement a tiered system that progresses from 'Candidates' to 'Heroes', with various ranks in between to recognize different levels of contribution and achievement.

As promised, we have spent some time with brainstorming on the topic of ranking, and we came up with a proposal.

As in the Heroes program members, besides having a basic technical knowledges, have multiple types of various expertise (content creation, community involvement and leadership xp) we are thinking about introducing multiple layers between Rookie and Hero levels, in a mixed form of collectibles and levels.

Basically a member can start 'collecting' points (and with enough points, earn badges) from the moment they sign up to the program. If they collect certain amount of badges (exact numbers TBD) they can jump up a level, and so on...
The ultimate goal would be to become a Hero, and the points one can collect could be based on the hero criteria, so by the time someone collects all )or most) of the badges, they automatically qualify as Hero.
Here is what we came up with during our brainstorming. Note: namings and points and nr of levels are just ideas, may change in the future.

We may also transform the current Hero nomination process into a 'ranking application' process of some sorts, this way we can easily see how a member progresses and can distribute badges accordingly.

We would love to have NFTs for the badges - we already have some ideas in mind, but this will take some time to prepare.
