SiriDB 2.x uses Qpack for internal communication as well as its default transport protocol when requesting time series data. This has as a downside that all clients need to support this protocol, which is not widely supported by different programming languages.
In SiriDB 3.x we change this to MessagePack which is quite similar in many ways, but has the benefit of being supported by almost any programming language available. Only a single downside for this protocol is the packaging of value
