How to add a channel ID to the filter of the course menu

Issues -

1. Add a channel ID to the filter of the course menu
2. Update the primary category list in the filter for the Content menu

Issue 1 - Add a channel ID to the filter of the course menu
Steps to update/add channel id in the filter -

1. Read menu-bar api

2. Create new menu-bar form config for org level
   • add channel id in the search -> filter section for the course menu.

4. After login to the portal observe the course menu api (In the API payload the channel id not added)

If I understand correctly, you are expecting the channel filter option on left-side filters which is having BMGS & PrimaryCateogry at present.

This is not a dynamic filter as of now. Refer the below code of search-filter component

If the above link, the component file has BMGS, PrimaryCategory & Audience filters only. Any new addition should requires code change.

We are working on making it form driven rather than coding with specific filters.

@komalm when you login your orgID to which you will be associated will be going with the form read so the form will be brought with the orgID but if the form is not available then the default form will be used so please check which form is getting back and see if the form has proper Primary categories
