Wallet and Dapp on the same host

Hello Wallet Connect Team,

Can I connect a wallet and a Dapp on the same host?

I'm developing punkwallet, which can be properly connected to the LiFi widget via wallet connect. (See jumper.exchange as an example.)

I'd like to embed the widget into the punkwallet app, but it looks like it breaks wallet connect.
My guess is that both the wallet and the Dapp uses the local storage with the same keys.

Is it possible to have the wallet and the Dapp on the same host?
