storage.removeItem is not a function on appkit-button

Hello, i installed appkit and appkit-button for react, when i tried to connect the button is making the request e.g for metamask once i approved it will just popup this

Uncaught runtime errors:

ERROR
storage.removeItem is not a function
TypeError: storage.removeItem is not a function
    at Object.removeItem (http://localhost:3000/static/js/bundle.js:215226:28)
    at Object.onAccountsChanged (http://localhost:3000/static/js/bundle.js:214614:51)

and then it will show this, as decline but when it check the connection in the wallet is connected.

As it cannot allow for another connection request while active

When i tried to connect with Phantom the same error message displayed but the Phantom connected despite the error. Please help i am stuck at this for over 5 days now

I am using node 22.11.0 on localhost

It's a wagmi issue. Please update to latest wagmi version. I think is V2.14.5
