Having issue connecting to wallet with v2.0

Having trouble getting v2 to work in a react app.

I get a uri and the modal opens with a QR code, but when I scan it with Rainbow, i get a message there "Error initializing with WalletConnect".

Metamask nothing happens at all after scanning.

Here is my component.

I think metamask is not supported in v2, maybe you can ask in the discord channel

@raajnadar-cb what is? I tried with Rainbow, Infinity Wallet - the same error

To test a v2 dapp you will need a v2 wallet. V2 is still in beta, and wallets are currently migrating to v2. See this migration note.

For testing you can use https://react-wallet.walletconnect.com/
