Lost Hardware Wallet and Backups in Apartment Fire

I have the wallet.json files from an email exhange, but all backups of seed phrases and hardware wallets were lost in a fire. Do I have any chance whatsoever at recovering full access to these wallets? I can see their balances, sit there, languishing, alone and sad without me to play with them.

You mean that you sent wasabi's wallet.json file by mail?
Then you just have to download this file, go to wasabi's data folder https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/FAQ/FAQ-UseWasabi.html#where-can-i-find-the-wasabi-data-folder, open Wallets folder (or simply search for Wallet Folder in Wasabi's search bar) and paste the file you downloaded, then relaunch Wasabi

I’m confused because I essentially tried that already. I’m unsure how recovery would work without the seed phrase or hardware wallet, both of which were destroyed in a fire two years ago, along with the original computer. There’s no data left to recover on those devices. Trolling through my email was the only way I was able to find the wallet files, and when I checked, the funds are still there—but I’m unable to access or manage them.

There is nothing hidden to show since the original computer is a pile of dust.

Was your wallet read only? If so rip, there is nothing you can do

If no, then the wallet file contains the encrypted seed.
If you followed the steps I mentioned , and open the wallet with the same passphrase, then it will work.
