I've been trying to consolidate my utxos while fees are low, and specifically to taproot addresses. I'm fairly sure that I was consistently selecting "Taproot Address" from the green "Receive" dropdown menu. But somehow I'm left with a small handful of segwit utxos in my wallet. During my consolidation efforts, a couple of times, when I did see segwit addresses in my Wasabi "Wallet Coins" window, I'm fairly sure I consolidated them all to taproot. I'm guessing that sending to segwit is expected in some edge-case coinjoin situations. I notice the green dot (meaning "default"?) next to "Segwit Address" in the green "Receive" dropdown menu. I didn't see anything obvious to me in the RPC doc: https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/using-wasabi/RPC.html Or maybe it was operator error. What do you think? Any way to prevent that? Thanks in advance. |

Wasabi automatically generates both Taproot and Segwit coins as change from payments and as outputs from coinjoins. I'm not sure if there's any way to prevent it, although it would probably leak your privacy if you are the only person who customized your wallet to behave that way. |

Choosing the preferred script type for change addresses is an interesting feature request |
