Send to Caas: Default value of "Use .html extension" checkbox #3163

Are you referring to send to caas from the sidekick or the bulk publisher? For the bulk publisher, we are working on a v2 that will automatically support this (@cmiqueo has this built). For the sidekick, we don't have support for that, so your contribution would be great. Most consumers are using the bulk publisher so the sidekick isn't as high as a priority. |

@sanrai our team decided to also promote the bulk publish workflow to our authors, so I'm closing this discussion. |

hi all,
for our project, we don't have any pages that are published with .html extension.
However, the "Send to Caas" tool by default checks the "Use .html extension" checkbox when the env is prod, which brings a major risk of authors publishing incorrect data to CaaS in our case.
I propose to add a config in /tools/sidekick/config.json , I could see the following options:
My team would be happy to contribute this to Milo.
