High level commander from

Hi,

For example, I want to draw circle in air using App layer. Is it possible to call or use high level commander or motion commander functions in firmware inside App layer? I am interested in function which are listed in 1, 2 of crazyflie-lib-python or do I need to create my own functions?
I would appreciate if you have any suggestion on examples or direction on reading documentation. From this page, I know Applayer can send commands to High Level commander but I don't know how.
