Slack Client Eliza Framework issue

Hi,

I’m currently facing an issue trying to enable Event Subscriptions.

I’ve followed all the steps from the documentation:

sudo pnpm start --character="characters/frog.character.json" to run the agent.
sudo ngrok http 3069 to create a tunnel.

However, after copying the generated ngrok link and adding it to the Slack Event Subscriptions configuration, I continue to receive the same error:

Request URL

"Your URL didn't respond with the value of the challenge parameter."

Do you have any suggestions on how I can resolve this?

Had the same issue, but the latest update helped. Maybe you just need to update Eliza

The issue was resolved by updating the character.json file. I had missed adding "slack" to the JSON. Without it, the server would not launch ;)
