Got basic, server-side, and working for "operational" and "running" data stores thru ssh. https://github.com/freeconf/netconf This was far enough for me to get an idea on the scope of work to get something useful put together and looks do-able! Still getting my head around some of the NETCONF differences, it is a bit weird to learning NETCONF after implementing RESTCONF. I'm testing compatibility w/ncclient |

I got started to see how hard it would be and looks fairly straightforward. There is no other opens source, NETCONF server in Go that I'm aware of, let me know if I'm wrong. Client and Python support are easy once the core implementation is done.
