Thermal radiation solver

Hi all,
I am following a bit the work of mfem, but have not used it before and I am not having experience with DG-FEM...

Now, we might have a student, who is interested in implementing a thermal radiation solver based on FVM-DOM and compare it for simple benchmark cases with analytical and/or openfoam results.
Before we start, I wanted to ask, if you know of any similar work, which is currently ongoing!? Until now, I did not see any activity for this topic.
