Copy as Custom

Currently having issues with the copy as custom function. It doesnt really seem to do anything besides take you to the area to create a custom template. One would assume it should be filled with the info of whatever template id been attempting to copy. Went to the portainer website, talked to the "ai", it said it should work exactly as i thought, told me to come here and ask, and then escalate if needed.

I believe this is a bug, I am encountering it too. I am actually here because of a web search I just did to solve this exact problem. When I click Copy as Custom, the portainer webUI seems to stall and chug for a second, so maybe itd be worth checking out whatever logs would have that.

I am just an amatuer so I dont know where to even look for logs, but I do remember trying portainer last year and "Copy as Custom" actually did copy the template.

Is there any fix, it seems to reload couple times and put me into empty template..
