External file referenced in docker-compose

I have a docker-compose file that wants to copy a file into a volume thusly:

volumes:
  - ./nginx.conf:/etc/nginx/conf.d/default.conf

I'm trying to add a stack using the Upload build method. I can supply my docker-compose file and my environment variable files just fine, but I don't see a way to handle this. Ideas?

If you need to reference that file, you need to define the absolute path so Portainer knows where to find it. Let's say nginx.conf is under /home/user/nginx/nginx.conf/ then that would be the path you use.

Thank you. I now have a successful deployment. It doesn't work just yet, but this was a great clue.

Well, right now, it's not quite right. I'm not seeing the file where it should be. So, I would like to keep it open until I do, if that's not too much trouble. If so, go ahead and close it.
