Retrieving a select's valid input type

Consider this code:

  async getDiscordUserById(userId: string, select: string = "*") {
    const { data, error } = await this.supabase
      .from("discord_users")
      .select(select)
      .eq("id", userId)
      .is("deleted_at", null)
      .maybeSingle();

    if (error) throw error;
    return data;
  }

As you can see, I wish to admit a select query as parameter.
However when doing so, the following issue emerges:

(method) Database.getDiscordUserById(userId: string, select?: string): Promise<GenericStringError | null>

After sifting through supabase-js's source code, I wasn't able to pinpoint where this type is stored or if it's even exported.

    Query extends string = '*',
    ResultOne = GetResult<Schema, Relation['Row'], RelationName, Relationships, Query>
  >(
    columns?: Query,

As anyone ever used this type or is there some sort of workaround?
