Fishbase Schema Documentation

The purpose of this project is to extract available marine life traits (e.g. fish, marine mammals) to help efficiently create an ecologically inspired OSMOSE simulation configuration.

For now, Fishbase and Sealifebase are targeted as sources for trait information. To access this data, rOpenSci's fishbaseapi.

One of the tangible outcomes of this project is that we enhanced publicly available documentation for (parts of) the fishbase schema and shared this with the rOpenSci fishbase api project (see discussion).
