Word 6.0 unstable with PDFCreator #1457

Hello,
Word 6.0 works unstable, when PDFCreator is chosen as default printer.
This is the case with older and newer versions of PDFCreator.
I tested it n particular with PDFCreator 1.2.3 on Windows 11, which works well with other Windows applications

Word crashes in several situations and a little bit unpredictable.
Word crashes mostly when I try to print to PDFCreator or when I am in the "page layout" dialog of word. Also, when I close the application.
In connection with PDFCreator Word seems not to recognize the paper formats, which are support by the printer (e.g. A4).
It only shows "User defined format" as format in the appropriate dialog. When a print executes without crashing the outcome is a pdf document with the wrong page size.
Similar problems appear with the Windows 11 built-in PDF printer "Microsoft Print to PDF".
On the other hand Word works well, when my physical printer "HP Laserjet professional P1102w" is chosen as default printer.
I can see the supported page formats in word's page layout dialog and it prints well without crashes.

The attached trace shows word crashing while printing to PDFCreator 1.2.3 on Windows 11.

Best regards

I can't repro this with the MS PDF printer. Does it crash whenever you print or are there some steps to make it fail?

Hello,
I tried it again on another PC. This has Windows 10 insatalled. The problem remains the same, also with "Microsoft print to PDF" printer. It crashes not with all documents but with the most. I attached a document from Borland which crashes almost predictable when you switch to print preview or page layout. It is in Letter format, but it als happens with other formats.

One thing I remarked is, that Word mostly can't see the supported paper formats from all pdf printers (also "Microsoft print to PDF"). But sometimes the supported paper formats are shown in the same situation. It seems to be really unstable at this feature.
