If put a file WITHOUT an extension eg. .bin it truncates the last char of filename prodos
regardless of ,A$2000 or not

with extension works fine

I experience this also. (filenames w/o extension truncates last letter of filename).

BTW: I never understood why my BINs kept getting put at $0801, until I saw the msg above implying that you can..
put FILE,A$2000
(Could this info be identified in DiskM8's 'help' command?)
