@yuvipanda - Jax has disappeared from the ml-notebook.
I am unable to keep track of all the PRs that have been made, so don't know what over wrote things.

Also conda list | grep cuda-nvcc returns nothing anymore on the m2lines deployment.

@dhruvbalwada can you check what is the image being run? Looking at the JUPYTER_IMAGE environment variable should tell you.

This is the one:

(notebook) jovyan@jupyter-dhruvbalwada:~$ echo $JUPYTER_IMAGE
pangeo/pytorch-notebook:2022.10.18

Yes, ugh. I think I was not being careful, and it looks like the default ordering on the selection menu has changed.

no worries @dhruvbalwada, just adding a note here that its easy to confirm which packages are in a given tagged image in this repository with a link like this:
https://github.com/pangeo-data/pangeo-docker-images/blob/2022.10.18/ml-notebook/packages.txt

I opened an issue on the 2i2c infrastructure repo to better expose to users which docker image is being run on a given jupyterhub 2i2c-org/features#16
