Forcing non-BFAV custom chicken eggs to hatch as white chickens

I have LavaPulse's chickens installed and noticed my LavaPulse eggs were hatching as white chickens. I reported this as over-aggressive randomzation.

I did further testing. It wasn't randomization; using the Item Spawner and Cheats Menu to mass-hatch eggs of various types, everything is working as expected except that 100% of the custom chicken eggs added by LavaPulse's mod are hatching as white chickens.

Never brown chickens, never void chickens, never any LavaPulse chicken breeds; only white chickens.

This should not be happening.
