The only two types of spark/status events I've seen are online and offline, but I can't be sure since it's not in the docs 😄 The recent version of the firmware docs seem to suggest otherwise though, with Get Public IP, Get Device name, and Get random seed.
It would be great to have a list of the automatic Spark-published events (online and offline) and the optional Spark-published events (device/name, device/random, device/ip)

Sounds good. That was added (but not announced) probably mainly used by the ☁️ to know whether the core is online/offline or for users listening to events.
I can definitely add it in under the Cloud functions but API sounds like a better place.. hmmm
