Installing this package on a fresh atom installation results in an error

I'm encountering an error when installing "particle-dev-complete" on a fresh atom installation (1.8.0)

I'm not savvy enough to figure out the error, but I'm wondering if there is anyone here that can help?

We've updated the readme to contain dependencies that need to be installed before installing this package. Do those steps help?
