Maybe a good idea:

I am using passepartout on ma apple devices.
I exclude my wifi at home = no vpn connection

But If my iphone switch from the router to the repeater or switch from 2,4 to 5 frequency a short disconnection of the WLAN connection occurs.

In this few seconds the VPN connection is activated and immediately disconnected again.
That is not really a problem but can be solved with a configurable delay.

For example:
If there is an option available "Delay before vpn will be activated (in seconds)", I could set this value to 3 = 3 Seconds
Everytime the iphone / mac will connect to an network, passepartout wait the 3 seconds and will connect the vpn after the delay

This could solve my "problem".
Because every time I have this short VPN connection, this connection/disconnection is logged in the router. Is always unattractive for an error analysis in the network area.

Seems to me a very infrequent edge case. Marked as low-priority enhancement anyway.
